Beauty bank: Sephora body scrub

Time to share my beauty products now and then…since some people requested ><

Introducing the new body scrub which I’ve acquired into the banks of mine last week with Xiang.L.. Sephora just opened its new outlet at Takashimaya and have sorta officially closed its booth over at DFS.. This shop there was kinda huge and I think girls will love it. They sell products with sweet colourful packaging (sweet and bright pink, purple, orange,sky blue, yellow..etc), specifically the body baths, lotions and scrubs.. Besides their house brand, the shop carries other brands (Clarins, Clinques…), and designer brands fragrances..

And I couldnt resist its really sweet colours…got a Sephora Gommage Scrub, Guava Passion.(orange colored)

On its label: An exfoliator formula with Jojoba beads and Papaya extract, enriched with Vitamin A and F. Gently purifies the skin leaving it smooth and velvety soft!

Exfoliating is important as it removes dead skin cells and aids skin renewal. We age and the rate of skin renewal slows down over-time..do something about it! Other than leaving your skin soft and smooth, exfoliating allows products (creams and lotions) applied after it to be absorbed more quickly and maximally. You wouldnt wanna see your expensive products not being fully absorbed, do you?

And I thought this is a pretty good scrub for its price..at a low-end, it acheives a relatively satisfying result – leaving the skin smooth and refreshed. I wouldnt say it leaves it really soft though. Fragrance-wise, each and every one of them smells really nice when you sniff it off the tube. However, like most scrubs..it leaves only a gentle smell of it after usage. And probably last for an hour or so. The gentle scrubbing nature doesnt leave you uncomfortable that you feel as if your skin is tearing. Personally, I suggest scrubbing in a circular motion several times. Try exfoliating twice a week..
