22nd May 09
I met up with beloved !!! for a long-awaited dinner over at Sun with Moon at The Central. Reservations were made to pre-empt the potential queues. But I wasn’t much pleased with the 2 dinner slots that they have. One from 1830 – 2015 and the other from 2030 to closing. The 2 dinner slots are usually commited by the prestigous restaurants during special occassions such as St. Valentine’s. We exceeded 2015 and they ‘politely’ rushed us by asking if we have any last orders and issued us the receipt thereafter. Other than this aspect, the evening was filled with great food, great fun and ‘hot’-drinks.

Avocado Soft Shell Roll
Topped with the soft avocado and complemented with the soft shell crab and cucumber right in the centre, this sushi roll’s beauty lies in its soft shell crab. Crispy amongst the other softness.I’m also glad that the avocado is light in this since I dont really like them.

Foie Gras
A must-have also for me. Indeed, this was yummy. The first time I had one with spiciness and instead of one big scallop, it comes with many small ones and also has mushrooms hidden under the cream cheese and spices. Again, this is just one precious thing (comes only in one); also expensive. hahas.
Multi-vitamins Nourishing Soup
Cooked with Tofu and this weird hard, tasteless BALL, chicken, etc..the soup was rather nice. I’m always a soupp lover! Like most Japanese soups which are light. Most importantly, it has the Vitamins and Nutrients to help our two lady stay youthful and healthy!
Seafood Pancake
The last dish which was served. Made to sound nice..the piece was not really what I expected and it was too much for us to finish it. We left a whole loads behind.
The total bill was expensive without the discount. Really expensive for a middle-range restaurant. Note that we didnt order any main dishes.
The Night
The night was still young when we finished our delicious and much hurried dinner. Goey and I both didnt wanna head home early so we decided to go for chill for 8+pm for chill seemed to be early. To aid the digestion of food, we walked around The Cannery, hoping to find our ideal location for the rest of the night. It’s somewhat gratifying to see the crowd relishing themselves as each restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs – an unwind from a long hectic week. And the best thing is, to know that you’re one of them..looking for pampers for the physical and mental. We didnt know where to go but finally out of tiredness from walking (yes, as simple as that).. we settled down at a deserted Forbidden City, Indochine.
BUt apparently, we were proved wrong when the crowd start to strolled in from 10pm. With a comfty sofa seat, both of us laid there lazily and talkin about funny things all over again. We had fun catching up and joking around, whether its on ourselves or our peers. We even gave ourselves an excuse to stay longer and also to order another drink since the crowd is making us look like we’re sitting down for free. One eye candy; so liked by the two of us and he was just sitting right opposite to us.
With a yearn for sour drinks, I ordered one of their signature drinks – Terra Cotta or Cotta Terra, which consists of mango and lychee. !!! on the other hand ordered a lycheetini (another of my favourite ever since the night at Observatory Lounge)
Strawberry & Lime Margarita~~
