2010′s Valentine’s day falls on the Chinese New Year. Hence we did an early celebration and we are back at Morton’s; the place which serves the best but nevertheless exorbitant steaks!
But it was also Morton’s that converted me – to eat beef. My parents dont allow us to consume beef since young but i converted into a beef eater since last year.
And before i truly begin on Morton’s post. Appreciation to the man who bought me a gift with his same old trick of searching the present in the car. ;D He was trying to complete my diamond set since he gave me a necklace the last time and this time an earring. Thank you Thank you! Haha, he must been so cute when he’s looking for the ‘right’ one.
Similar to last year, we had to wait by the bar area first before the waitress clear the table for us. Led into a small room with only 4 tables, we had much more privacy this time round.
The onion loaf seems to be much nicer than I remembered. Warm, crusty and nicely infused with the fragrances of onion.
This time round, we didnt order the very forgettable scallops wrapped with bacon. We always forget that we ate this before. Instead we had onion soup with crusted cheese. This was awesome. My first time with an onion soup was an enjoyable one. The crusted cheese gave much joy in eating/drinking it. Yummy! Morton’s has done a good job again!
Photos! – everyone can see that i love to take photos; hence the waiter asked!

It’s definitely the first time that i’m having such an huge piece of beef to myself. I almost felt like a carnivore which indulges in huge, bloody bodies.
Not being a frequent beef eater, i dont even know what level should I cook my steak to. More of, which do i prefer. At last, i had to get it re-cooked to medium, i think. (See, i forgot again!)
But it was too huge for me. Can’t finish it at all. I believed I’ve wasted 30 bucks since i have about 1/3 left.
Still the best we had!
The hot chocolate cake is still the best we had thus far! Even though the previous time was even better. This time round the chocolate inside wasnt melty enough!
Us outside Morton’s.
Hehehs. I decided not to post the cool pic of vampy but a naughty vampy! He was trying to do my HMPHS, pose that i always do in Japan.
The post came across a lil too late, due to too much backlog of entries! But it’s still a really sweet v-Day. Thank you for the pampering, BIGBABYVAMPY. LOL!
