Vampy has been really nice! He has been fetching me from super-duper-far NUS almost every friday these days after my 9pm seminar! On one of the fridays, we headed to One Rochester for our 37th month celebration! was supposed to be a simple celebration but it became quite an expensive one again!

But One Rochester, in fact, the whole of Rochester Park retained its charm by keeping its colonial bungalows. As simple as black and white, One Rochester is alil oasis of serenity with the soothing trickling waters in the background. Surrounded by the greens and in fact insects, the place offered us some solace from the busy week before.
Super yums
- Porcini Mushroom and chestnut Risotto with Magret Duck Breast.
The Duck is awesome!! got the tinge of foie gras:) This is considerably the nicest Risotto i had! Nicer than the one i had in Graze. Its sweetness was nicely complemented with a tinge of saltiness. Previously, Risotto turns me out after a while but this… it kept me going till the end! Something to come back for.
Roast Suckling Pig with kurobuta Pork, jamon and fig stuffing.
You can say that this is the only Kurobuta pork that i hate! My first try of a roasted suckling pig =x i think i can understand why some loves the suckling pig but i hated the strong pork smell! sorry, but vampy enjoyed this dish like it was heavenly!
the grande assiette
- consisting of cold lime souffle, devils flourless chocolate, mascarpone and raspberry ripple cake. Pana cotta, Coffee creme brulee, and the last im not sure;x
The Coffee creme brulee was yummy! love that. pretty unique.
cold lime souffle caught me in a surprise!
devils flourless chocolate was sinfully rich and nice!
had my first try on pana cotta and it tasted just fine to me!
i liked this coz it was really refreshing and had lil alcohol % in it i think! quite addictive for a warm and humid night!
happy 37th months vampy love!
*for the first time, i felt a lil under-dressed. lolx.
