Turning the Esplanade’s Roof terrace into a chilling space was unexpected. But Orgo did it. I read about it on the papers about one and a half months ago and has been dying to chill there as soon as I can. Other than being at such a good spot, Orgo is probably highlighted by it’s Japanese Mixologists and its clear cubicles and semi-open and other opened chilling spots.
A small surpise given by Orgo was in fact the size of the place. Holding a 60 seating capacity, it just occupied one small area of the roof terrace, retaining the other half of it for couples to date and friends to hang around.

Warmly welcomed by Orgo’s Captain due to the low level of crowd on a Thursday night.
p.s. hahas, this photo still amused me like hell. With Vampy on one side looking at the menu and the Captain waving on the other side. hahas.!

I love this shot too. hehs
Another surprise which Orgo had for me was its loose slips of menu. Or should I say shock? Easy-going and rustic as it can be but what matters is the drinks printed on it. Fruitty cocktails, dry martinis and even non-alcholic drinks.
The Fresh Martinis are not simply a mix of fruits and martinis but has the finest mixture of other ingredients such as mints or chilli. Sadly, its signature, Soursop and Calamansi Martinis was out. So was its Mangosteen martinis. arghs.
Well anyway, after a long ponder..i decided to settle for its Strawberry & Mint Martini since i’ve been craving for strawberry Margarita. Vampy on the other hand, taking a long ponder for whats not so gay and still nice. And i just cant help but tell vampy that ..well fruitty drinks are ‘gay’ to start with. Apparently I’ve made a point ^^. With a final ponder, he decided on his Apple & Shiso Martini

Fresh Grapes were also served to us. Oh, how I love them! (except those with the seeds ones). How good is life when u get to savour grapes, an everyday fruit, before a pretty cityscape. Even with the grapes, it’s an awesome experience!

Yes yes. This is the scene before us which I have been talking about. Not only the scene but because we were semi enclosed in the glass cubicle…and with a less-crowd thursday..allows one to feel near yet far away from a city. Oh and one thing, I realised.. Orgo’s music werent particularly outstanding. But I guess that’s not what they want to win their patrons over for.

The lights which caught my attention for the whole night.

Orgo is a simple place in terms of design. Mostly with rattan-weaved chairs which made you sit right deeply into it because the chair really feels deep when you u laid your back on it. It feels as if you were falling for a moment. The glass cubicles, I emphasised is whats makes them really unique. Too bad, it’s only opened for patrons with a minimum expenditure of 200bucks. And and yea, a few of its pillows, mainly brown and orange, made the place alot more cosy.
oh and, each open table on the outside has a special light supporting it. Something like this….

Lights in the hour glass

The Japanese Mixologist, behind the high bar and bottles of liqueur..
Yea..you cant really see them from this side of the bar.. I think but I heard you can from the other side. Well, I cant make it too obvious. I still think its a deliberate attempt to make them not so visible ;(.
anyway, the chance to see one of the guys for a while is when he served the drink he has concocted PERSONALLY!
Sweet & polite.

This is the Strawberry & Mint martini which I am already missing. Real strawberry juice mixed with a tinge of mint and martini really did wonders! Sweet, sour, minty and alcholic-y!

Apple & Shiso Martini is less sweet compared to mine. It almost doesnt taste of the apple too. Light liqueur taste too. I thought this is a lil more bitter. Maybe it’s so call the more man amongst the gay. lolx.
The couple started ‘competing’ who has the best artistic shots of the drinks. Therefore the numbers of cocktails before. hahas. Give your comments on which is the best if you have a say ^^

1. Half the liquer, half the skyline

7. centre of attention

8. The house of grapes.
hehs. I have a few favourite pics but let me know which are the better ones!

Had a wonderful time with vampy! Loves especially the photography times. Well, given my love for it. I got a big nice man here. Quoting from a status of his “Jeremy Kang seems to Love spending money that he cannot really afford to Spend”..hahas. I have no idea if i should feel bad or fortunate.

That night, I told him that I think its possible for him to bounce back into a honeymoon period. At least for me.. Sometimes it’s just a matter of how you have decided to feel and view things. It seems like emotions can be linked with cognition to some extent..dont they?

The best pic i’ve gotten for Vampy for the night ;D.
And how can i rid Narcissism off my mind? hahas.

goodbye Orgo. hoohoo~!
je t’aime ;D
