i havent forgotten ‘em..

We finally had Tonkichi after a good…6 months? Yes, it used to be a craving of his at least once every 2 months. Coz we simply love the Tonkatsu and fried Oysters! I’m not an oyster-lover but the oysters they have are simply different. With a distinct contrast of soft flesh and crisp outside, it’s really yummie!

And this time round, I decided to try the claypot dishes instead! They looked yummie!

The claypot dish requires me to do a little of work. That is to prepare my own sauce. I was only given a handful of seasame seeds… Had fun grinding them up , like a lil kid.. I almost put the wrong sauce! Luckily I asked the waitress, hahas.

Then again, i think the fried oyster is still unbeatable. The Hire Katsu Toji set feels a lil lighter than the plain fried ones though..with its soup and egg-ed base.

After so long, I still think that Im the most blessed girl from what I know. To the extent that my birthday dinner was thought to be an engagement event. Oh my. Also, I’m very happy for the good news which came up this week! Been a long time we had a really good one. Happy that this man is happier!

I met up w Xiang.L for the second time this holiday..though it was prompt and short. Amazingly, it falls on a Tuesday coz I skipped work..being a sick bug for the past few days… It’s Gelare’s waffles half-price day! It’s been more than a year since I had that…It’s funny coz I used to have it so often. The last time I had it, I think it was w Wayne. How time flies hehs.

They gave us the large waffle even though we paid for the regular one and ended up wasting half of it.

A sweet encounter w this baby who constantly says ‘ice-cream’ beside the seat of mine. He chuckles when he/she is asked for his/her name and the gender. This baby even tried to take advantage of me by stroking my thighs and then reached for my hands. Cute. This baby almost fall for my trick when I tried feeding him/her. ‘lilbaby’ sit about 2 tables across us and came running towards me when I played peek-a-boo and kisses w him/her. Xiang.L said she didnt know I could play w babies so well. Well, I could…usually with happy babies though…Remember the days when my sis and I used to go over our neighbours’ house to play with babies and kids..until I was about secondary two..

And my lady here is having insightful moment of her life. Which I agree with her very much. However, I understand that many people out there are against such a thinking but while thats right at the moment..never insightful.

Monday was my gathering with my jc friends. Specifically, its a farewell dinner for Shuwen who is now in Australia preparing for an independent way of life. It has been a long time since all of us had met up! Its counted in MONTHS!. As usual, we talked about things all under the sun, all sorta random stuff (including the topic sex, love and lust and bras etc) BUt we are still good gals, we didnt have any dirty talks yea!

We settled at this Japanese resturant beside Ajisen in PS. Observe and you will realise that almost all the waiters and waitress are non-singaporeans. We got quite pissed with the kind of service they had provided.

It was the first time that I gave Shuwen a hug, a tight one. Only to realise recently that one always miss the past. Always hope that we could go back, even though we used to dread the past (the present last time). No matter how dreadful, cherish them. I hope i could do this.

Tuesday was planned with the intention of playing some badminton games with Wayne at the sports complex. The court was booked at 10am! Since there were some bickering the night b4, I gave a miss at calling him, checking if he would be awake and embarkin on the journey here.

Sad to say, when I reached there, there was nobody in sight even up to 10.30 am. I just cant help but cried. The feeling of being pang seh…ARGHs. The reasons for my tears were more. Bird shit fell on me and the name keychain that Jasmine made for me in Sec 1 loosen apart and fell all on the floor. (I got an ‘O’ missing now) It just made me felt soooo unlucky. Nothing goes in the way I want.

I decided to walk home at 10.30, received a call from this lil boy. I acted that I’m alright. But this made him more guility and he rushed down to my hse. Everything went okae after some thrashin out. Becoz of the bicker again, we missed out kbox plan.

We ended up at Hougang Mall, giving us some treats AGAIN before going to Popular for my RE-stock.

The pasta with an egg was really special, with sauce that is unique,not too creamy. Ideal for peeps who get sick with creamy sauce. The chicken Lasagne was much better than the one at Delifrance. BUt I would say that the tomato sauce at the sides were a bit too much and the cheese could have been a bit more!

And coz its Tuesday, we went indulging at the half-price waffles at GELARE! Its has been so long since I’ve been ther with him.

WE had CHERRY EXPLOSION ice-cream on it.

And then the day ended with a crabby dinner that my mum cooked and a game of LIFE, a board game we bought at Popular!

Got a haircut in the morning and went KBOX in the afternoon. At night, we played the game of LIFE again at my house, with POh HUP! **surprised* So paiseh when wayne asked me to msg him and see if He’s ok to come.
